Solvate is a growing, venture backed, online start-up seeking to change the way businesses connect with talent. We're a small, fast-paced team eager to build a new business from the ground up, innovate the way we work, and make our goals reality. We're looking for a dynamic individual to join the team and serve as our Account Manager.

Solvate makes it easy for companies to access America's most esteemed consultants and accelerate their business goals and vision. We vet, contract, and then connect exceptional freelancers/professionals across marketing, biz dev, creative services, and other specialties. Building strong relationships and a sense of community with our clients and consultants is at the core of our business. We need someone to help keep this process running smoothly, all the while turning their experience and insights into innovation that will improve our product and service!

The Account Manager will serve as the liason between Solvate talent and clients and report to the Manager of Talent at Solvate. They will be in charge of supporting Solvate customers, building out Solvate Client and Talent Support programs, liasing with Clients and Talent on project work, and educating our customers about Solvate. This involves communicating directly with clients and consultants and supporting their ability to connect with each other.

Responsibilities:

* Point person on customer support for Clients and Talent, including fast response to inbound phone, email and chat communications
* Point person Help process daily workflow -- work with clients and talent to manage project needs, deadlines, and budgets
* Process client and talent feedback
* Support operations department to improve relationship-building process
* Identify product improvement opportunities and work with Director of Operations to prioritize and implement improvement
* Support Manager of Talent to foster and build a healthy professional Talent community
Skills

Experience:

* 1-2 years in relationship management, account manager or customer support role
* BA from a competitive University
* Relevant experience at a startup or brand known for its customer service
* Experience building a customer support program

The ideal candidate is a quick learner and a self-starter with:

* Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal
* Efficient and proactive work ethic
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and be flexible

* Contagious personality -- passionate about delighting clients and Talent
* Love of new technology -- consider yourself an early adopter/innovator
* Preferably already "living in the cloud"
