Auctionomics, a start-up company co-founded by Stanford Economics professor Paul Milgrom, is seeking two interns with MBA credentials and relevant experience to complete projects that explore potential new areas of business for our firm (www.auctionomics.com). We are an auction-design and software firm offering innovative, economically sound solutions to complicated business problems. Our advanced online software products and cutting-edge auction designs give us an unparalleled ability to design efficient markets for trading multiple goods, maximizing the gains from trade and creating win-win solutions for our clients. Our software is based on an innovative sealed-bid design devised by Dr. Milgrom that computes an optimum allocation and price result for buyers and sellers of multi-product goods that can be substitutes or complements and where the solution follows the business rules of the bidders, such as for budgets, credit limits, and production or transport capacity.

We are currently investigating the best considering strategy to apply our expertise and technology to one of several specialized market areas.
