
Tweet What You Eat, a leading web and mobile food diary that has been featured on Good Morning America, in Wired Magazine and The Huffington Post, is seeking a business development intern to secure advertising deals and form strategic partnerships.
Tweet What You Eat's platform has been licensed to leading publishers and portals and has done direct advertising deals with a number of consumer health and nutrition advertisers. You'll work directly with the founder and learn how to build, bootstrap and market web products that drive organic growth that attracts users and the press. You will also be able to test cause-and-effectiveness of initiatives on a high-use product to learn what works and what doesn't in terms of monetization, user-retention and technology-driven marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
* Identifying advertising targets and soliciting direct deals with Adervisers
* Refining the ad package which includes a mix of banners, social media and email
* Writing/editing marketing materials
* Identifying leads for strategic partnerships and licensing opportunities
* Social media marketing and PR
* Define monetization opportunities in Health coaching, subscription, etc.
