We are looking for one of our first employees - director of marketing and business development to join the company.

Location: New York City

Job Description

* Identify and sign new local merchants (eg Restaurants, Spas etc)
* Manage all partner relationship
* Coordinate and participate in market-research to understand merchant needs
* Eventually lead a team of account managers / sales executives
* Work with product team to enhance current offering as appropriate.

Skills Required

* Must demonstrate abilities with operations start-up, expansion, strategic planning, customer relations and retention, contract development and negotiation.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills using Microsoft office tools.
* Direct successful experience with selling to merchants is a big plus.

Recommended Educational Background

* Bachelor of Science or Arts or equivalent and 3-5 plus years of proven successful sales experience exceeding targeted objectives.
