The ideal candidate will be able to work successfully in a fast-paced goal oriented environment and manage several different projects at once. We are a pure startup that has just received angel funding and are looking to expand the team. Compensation will include cash and equity.

Position
Amarantus Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced top notch Executive Assistant to support our Executive Management as we continue to build our organization. We are looking for an individual with demonstrated professionalism, a true to desire to be a right hand person and develop a professional partnership with a dynamic executive team. High energy and flexibility as well as poise, confidence and the ability to interface with Scientists, Physicians and co-workers in a professional, approachable, and positive manner are all essential.
Responsibilities
1. Manage calendar: Keep Executive and management apprised of calendar, action items, messages and relevant business issues, both internal and external.
2. Coordinate Meetings and special events
3. Screen incoming calls, correspondence, interoffice materials; determine priority and respond appropriately
4. Email management: Use sound judgment when processing email; may compose messages/replies on behalf of business leaders.
5. Gather voicemail messages and phone messages, take initiative on appropriate action or routing to appropriate person
6. Make travel arrangements for travelling team members
7. Prepare expense reports and coordinate reimbursement including but not limited to trip reimbursements and miscellaneous expense reimbursement
8. Create and format documents electronically including letters, memos, trip reports, itineraries, status reports, presentation (Power Point), spreadsheets (Excel), meeting minutes and other related documents
9. Copy, scan, file, and track a variety of business documents.
Key Qualifications and Required Skills:
1. 5+ years in an administrative support role, including at least 2-3 years in an executive level administrative support role, preferably in a fast paced and challenging environment
2. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment; and ability to multitask challenging and demanding projects
3. Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback on work performance
4. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
5. Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills required as are organizational, filing,
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
7. Bachelors Degree preferred; 2-4 years of university or trade school and/or other administrative training in business, office administration
8. Ability to make solid business decisions, problem-solve, and multi-task in a highly dynamic work environment
9. Proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity
10. Ability to work in a team setting and conduct and present oneself in a highly professional manner with both internal and external clients and personnel
11. Proven ability to set priorities and work independently with little or no supervision
