We are an early-stage startup company in San Francisco developing a service for worldwide small technical service providers.
We use JSP, JQuery, GAE and Google storage. The initial alpha release is scheduled for mid September.
We are looking for the Head of Engineering to own the development and operation of the service.

Requirements

5+ years of hands on Java and web development
Experience in leading new designs and evolving existing system
Experience leading a small development team
Knowledge of Google app engine platform and Google storage
Experience with IT service management
Bay Area resident
Immigration status: permanent resident or US citizen

Initial duties

Take ownership of the service design and development from the CEO and founder
Hands on development of the next releases
Take this service to GA
Design and implement a service management plan for the launch
Head the engineering department

Initially this could be a part-time job as the compensation is all in equities for everybody but contractors until we start getting revenue.
