The project manager we are looking for is someone who combines the detail oriented style of a project manager with the communication and relationship management skills of an account manager. The candidate will have previous interactive agency or consulting firm experience. The ideal person will have experience working on technology projects, strong communication skills and should be comfortable communicating with designers, developers, account executives and clients. Prior experience interacting with clients and overseeing internal and external project teams is required.
Candidates should have a general understanding of web based technologies and have experience working simultaneously on multiple projects and with global teams. The PM will be involved with projects ranging from web applications, microsites and Flash animations, to online media buys, visitor reporting, retail platforms and training programs and more.
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful development/scoping of services, launch and continuity of services. Job responsibilities will include - assigning priorities on work to be performed, monitoring progress of all assigned projects, coordinating communication between Client Services functions, Production and IT, Design and the client. The Project Manager will be informed and able to report and update at all times regarding the status of current projects. The Project Manager will have authority to assign priorities to work within areas based on analysis of client needs. The Project Manager will be responsible for keeping Client Services, IT and Production informed of work flows and project progress. If conflict arises, the Project Manager must identify the root cause and fully resolve the issue. The Project Manager will have active participation in all daily meetings, as well as keep a detailed "to do" list along with a project timeline, where applicable. The Project Manager must also document scope of work and job requirements for all new and existing programs.
The Project Manager will also be called upon to:
• Manage team resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Understand and communicate pros and cons to clients and team members
• Develop timelines and budgets
• Brainstorm and scope new projects with creative and account folks
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assume program/project leadership on concurrent projects, developing detailed project and work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, project tracking, analysis and meetings and maintains accurate and timely dashboards, scorecards, and status documentation.
2. Project planning, organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
3. Maintain ongoing interface and contact with clients, sales and business development teams to solicit and receive feedback regarding all aspects of work flow such as project dates, special needs, product updates, feasible improvements and issues.

Bachelors Degree (B.A./B.S.) minimum 5 years related work experience including project and account management.
Prior Interactive Agency or Consulting Firm Experience required.
