RESPONSIBILITIES
Genstruct is seeking a mid-level J2EE Web Developer to help build its next generation technology platform. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will work as a member of our engineering team and be responsible for developing and refining the front-end user interfaces. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for his or her second job.

Candidates are expected to be able to operate independently, have a deep understanding and demonstrable experience building data intensive multi-tiered web applications, have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a fast-paced team, meet deadlines, have strong linear-logic based problem solving skills, and can effectively document and present ideas to others.

SKILLS
• 3+ years working as a web developer
• 3+ years experience using J2EE front-end technologies including JSF, JSTL, Ajax, and JavaScript
• 3+ years experience working with SQL and relational databases,
• 1+ years developing on Linux/Unix systems
• Spring and Hibernate experience a plus,
• a degree from a top-tier academic institution in Computer Science or related discipline
• demonstrable experience of software engineering processes, particularly agile methodologies, source code management and issue tracking systems.
• impeccable references,
• a background in statistics or biology is a plus.
