This is a Lead Developer position dedicated to the Hyperion Planning team. The role is intended to start as soon as possible and continue through run of project to include testing, and final sustainment turnover as needed.

The Lead Developer responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

Coordinate with the Business Lead and Business Analysts to lead a team of developers through to implementation of a Hyperion Planning solution
Work with Finance business partners as needed to fully understand business and systems requirements for the planning solution
Write and review code and processes as needed including dimension / outline building, calculation scripts (business rules), web forms and Excel input templates, Essbase load rules and security / workflow development
Document technical requirements in the formats required
Create user, technical and/or administrator documentation

Systems experience required:

Experience leading and managing at least 5 Hyperion Planning implementations in the role as Lead Developer and/or Architect
Experience developing and implementing Hyperion Planning applications
Experience with Hyperion Planning 11.x
Expert technical/developer knowledge of Hyperion Planning
Expert technical/developer knowledge of Hyperion Essbase
Experience designing Hyperion Essbase calculation scripts
Experience designing Hyperion Essbase Load Rules
Experience working with SQL databases
Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting
Experience designing and implementing data interfaces to Hyperion Planning
Experience delivering functional specifications to other technology teams
General professional skills required:

Able to communicate clearly with and listen critically to finance managers and technical team members
Excellent verbal and graphic documentation skills, including ability to �mock up� examples in Excel where appropriate
Able to distill coherent relevant information out of ambiguity
Pro-active, independent, and thorough � able to identify and chase down issues to closure
