Position Overview

Candidate must have proven experience building web-based UI components. You will participate in the enhancement of an existing web-based application through development of individual widgets to extend the functionality of the site. They will have the chance to join a startup building a hosted product offering.

The Software Engineer will design and develop the products user interface including integrating AJAX components. You will engage in challenging design issues for the UI of our web application. You will create design specs and implement UI components which will shape the overall look and feel as well as define user interactions of our solution.

Skills and Competencies

* Experience designing and implementing web-based apps based on server-side UI frameworks

* Solid OO JavaScript programming skills

* Good understanding of JSP/Servlets

* Experience with fundamental design patterns such as past experience applying the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern

* Strong cross-browser CSS/JavaScript knowledge

* Good communication skills (both written & verbal)
