We are Speedeals.com, a capital efficient Internet startup with a business model designed for today’s economy. We are finishing up our site which will be launching next month. Actually, we have started our marketing campaign to sign up merchants. The technical stuff is done but we got a lot of work on the marketing side and our tiny marketing team cannot handle it alone. We need a high energy, multi-hat wearing, hands-on marketer to supervise efforts to drive traffic to the site. You would be a founding member of this organization.

We are prefunded and this is an equity only position. We plan on seeking Series A funding after we can demonstrate traffic growth and paid customers but we will also be generating significant revenue once we launch.

Please be located in the BAY AREA. We are looking for someone who can commit full time but we will also consider candidates who can contribute part time with a minimum of 20 hrs a week.

The ideal candidate should be of the following:

• An entrepreneur who has started a software/Internet business.

• A marketer with demonstrated experiences managing growth in Internet traffic or experiences in marketing or PM for ecommerce B2C.

• Someone with marketing or product management experiences from a consumer Internet company like eBay or Yahoo

• Someone with business development experiences with small and medium sized merchants. This includes yellowpages, advertisements, or other promotional services targeting SMBs.

Depending on your background, you will lead or help to manage the various marketing areas:

• Direct marketing

• SEM/SEO

• Social Media/Social Network

• Consumer advertisement

• Vertical business advertisement

• Referrals programs

• PR

• Affiliate partners/Channel

• Guerilla
