Seeking Opportunities
Past Experience:
I've worked at an online music start-up, at MSN Entertainment, at a law firm in Johannesburg doing telecom-related work, at a law firm in NYC doing mostly transactional work, and at a law firm in Los Angeles doing antitrust and patent work.
I've done consulting for a DIY legal documents website, mostly in a site features-focused kind of role, and not so much in a legal role.

Education:
Stanford University, BA in Sociology 1999
Georgetown University Law Center, Juris Doctor 2006

Desired Work:
I worked in Internet tech for about 4 years. I'm looking for a position that would best utilize my skills and interests.
Some skills I developed in the field include organizing resources, juggling multiple site projects, communicating effectively with different audiences, and eliciting the best work possible from a team.
My legal education provided me with skills that transfer well to Internet services & products. I learned to uncover the minute details that make big differences, to create compelling arguments, to hypothesize, and to negotiate.
The perpetual evolution of the Internet and its related technologies continue to present novel questions about intellectual property rights, fair use, and more recently, privacy concerns related to data collection, data storage, content, and users’ identity. There is always a new frontier in Internet technology issues, and I very much want to be a part of developing this frontier.
