mypaperlessbills is a MA based green company started by two MIT Alumni with the goal to convert 1% of the 19 billion US paper bills to paperless by the end of 2012. The company created a central online repository, where consumers receive, store, access and organize all their (home) bills conveniently and securely for record keeping, tax, and payment purposes. Our solution allows service providers to generate significant savings which are typically around 70 cents to $ 1 per bill. Furthermore mypaperlessbills enables service provider to drive paperless adoption rates beyond the often seen plateau which most service provider hit after they have harvested the “low hanging fruits” of easy to convert customer. In addition, there are important green benefits by going paperless, which help to preserve natural resources and avoid unnecessary toxic waste for our environment. mypaperlessbills addresses a market in excess of $ 13.3B in the US alone.
