
Seeking Entreprenuerial-minded technologist for summer internship working with a seasoned entrepreneur on a portfolio of Twitter-based web and mobile life tracking applications including:
- Tweet What You Eat (http://www.tweetwhatyoueat.com)- Twitter-based food diary with over 50,000 users and the Internet's first crowd-sourced calorie database. TWYE in the news:

- Tweet What You Spend (http://www.tweetwhatyouspend.com) - Twitter cash tracker designed to answer the question - "what happens to my money between trips to the ATM?" TWYS in the news:

You'll work directly with the lead developer and learn how to build, bootstrap and market web products quickly that drive organic growth and attract users and press attention while taking ownership of coding responsibilities and technology decisions. You'll be able to test cause-and-effectiveness of initiatives on a platform of high-use products to learn what works and what doesn't in terms of monetization, user-retention and technology-driven marketing initiatives.
Past two interns graduated to full-time positions as Rails Developers after 5 months.
Requirements:
- Some Rails experience (must provide links to sites you've developed)
- Familiarity of jQuery Javascript framework
- Demonstrable HTML/CSS skills
- Database proficiency (schema design and SQL)
- Keen interest in Product Development
- Eye for design
- Eagerness to learn!
