Symosis is a premier information security consulting and training company focussed on helping clients achieve their security goals. Using industry leading assessment services and training offerings as a starting point Symosis protects your organization against immediate threats and identifies your future needs to create a complete plan for improving the overall security of networks, hosts and applications across your enterprise. The Symosis team includes authors, editors and contributors to over a half-dozen books, to include the Hacking Exposed Series, Special Ops, Hack Notes, and Incident Response. Our team continues to be actively involved in speaking, having presented at CSI, USENIX, ISACA, and BLACKHAT.
Opportunity

The positions provides an opportunity for a self starting entrepreneurial candidate to work at a startup, be part of the core team, build contacts and expand their business development, marketing, and sales horizons. The candidate will be responsible for key sales and marketing activities like lead generation, market analysis, promotions, presentation, closing and will be reporting to VP Business Development. The individual will play a key role in helping management improve service/product offerings as well as enhancing customer satisfaction based on client feedback.

Responsibilities

Present and sell customized products and services to existing and potential clients Identify specific targets and formulate a sales action plan for clients
o Follow up on leads and referrals from existing clients and prospects
o Manage existing accounts and clients
o Work closely with manager to develop and update necessary sales and marketing material
o Prepare weekly sales reports for manager’s review
o Meet weekly with manager and President to review goals and findings

Skills

A successful candidate must have:
o The ability to communicate with customers and have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
o The capacity to work independently and within a team environment to achieve sales goals
o Effective verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent customer service and sales ability
o Sound sales acumen, drive and exceptional follow up skills

Compensation: Commission based, no cap
