Job Description:

Your job will give you the opportunity to enter the exiting environment of service engineering for the enterprise communication and collaboration technologies (Voice, Messaging, Mobility, Multimedia, SharePoint).

Service Engineering is responsible for creating a service wrapper around each technical solution, defining what the service effect is, how it will be delivered and how it will be consumed by users.

We take a standard approach to engineering solution, focusing on:

Service Support - Engineer services based on a standard set of support processes and Service Delivery Requirements .

Service Delivery - Engineer services based on a standard set of service management processes and Product Management Requirements.

Service Consumption- Engineer services with the end user in mind by developing a standard set of processes and user guidance that are consistent across all service offerings.

Service Performance - Validate usability and ensure implementation satisfies requirements.

Perform on going evaluation and improvement of the service wrapper components.

Quality check of the engineering deliverables, documentation and implementation planning are other

key responsabilites of the service engineering role.

Additional Information:

The Service Engineering role is a cross business group function.

The successful candidate will join the Service Engineering Team within the End User Services organization

(GTIS). Service Engineers are expected to have strong working relationships with Architecture and Engineering,

Product Management, End Users, Corporate Comms, Vendors, and Service Providers.

Experience with ITIL and Service Lifecycle

Experience with Business Process Modeling and Process Engineering

Exoerience creating end-user guidance, best practice, and use case

Experience developing and implementing user adoption and marketing campaigns

Experience (equivalent to a Power User) with Microsoft SharePoint - familiar with configuring Worflows, List lookups,

Experience in other collaboration or document management technologies like OpenText Livelink and EMC Documentum very usefull.

Experience with other collborative technologies like Desktop Video, Boardroom Video, Chat, and Messaging a plus.

Experience with video capture software like Adobe Captivate and web design skills a plus.
