An exciting opportunity currently exists in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada for an experienced Software Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the continued development, enhancement, and the maintenance of an online virtual educational and gaming world.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain virtual world servers
• Increase scalability, reliability, and security of the virtual world servers
• Document and maintain technical design specifications for functional changes
• Setting precedents in layout creation and web design production work
• Input into web design standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
• University degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in administration of Linux Server Fedora Core
• 3+ years MySQL or similar database experience
• 4+ years Java Standard & Enterprise Edition experience
• Proficient in Spring Framework
• Proficient with Action Script 3 Flex/Flash
• Experienced in Red 5
• 3+ years experience managing web based server environments
