Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Silicon Valley

Our client's Software Engineers develop the next-generation technologies to build mobile device management products and solutions to top tier wireless operators around the world. We are currently looking for outstanding Java development engineers who can help us design and build the next generation of our systems delivering dramatically increased functionality, performance and scalability. The ideal candidate is someone who is capable of architecting, developing and testing our systems. You should be somebody who enjoys creating state of the art server software, isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, is customer-centric, and feels strongly not only about building great software but about testing and deploying that software in the real world.

Responsibilities

Write server-side code for web based applications, create robust high volume production applications and develop rapid proof of concept prototypes. You should have a strong understanding of Java web application development and frameworks.
Produce working code and deliver high level architecture leadership. You will participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from design to development to testing to deployment and on-going enhancement.
Contribute to the design of user-interfaces, workflows, and algorithms, the architecture and design of web-based and, highly-available workflow management applications, and the design and implementation of robust and high-performance APIs used to integrate with operators' existing network elements, billing, and business intelligence systems
Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
3-5 years practical experience with software engineering practices and refactoring existing software.
3-5 years extensive programming experience in Java (strong OO skills preferred)
Deep understanding of distributed systems and multi threaded programming.
Used various software development methodologies such as Weblogic, Tomcat, Struts, Javascript/AJAX, JSP,SOAP, REST.
Experience in advanced data structures, API/service interface development and web development.
Experience working with Oracle and Oracle/RAC a plus.
