General Summary
We are crafting an enterprise-wide strategy that will help meet the demands of our rapidly growing retail business and are looking for well-rounded Sr. Developers who know how to create enterprise-capable applications, and can also develop prototypes quickly. You should possess deep understanding of business processes and how those processes are supported with SAP solutions.

Job Specifications

1. BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field, or the equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus.
2. 6+ years of information technology experience; at least 4 years within the SAP application space.
3. Work experience reflects a progression of increasing responsibility in both technical and leadership roles.
4. Demonstrated experience with mentoring others on methods and best-practices within SAP applications.
5. Expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following SAP areas:
a. SAP ABAP, Data Dictionary, IDOC message processing, and ABAP Object programming.
b. SAP PI (XI) technologies.
c. SAP ERP modules: SD, MM, FI, and HR.
d. SAP BI.
e. SAP Retail or the AFS module is a plus.
f. SAP Portal (EP) and associated technologies (NWDS, Web Dynpro, etc.) is a plus.
6. Knowledge of object relational mapping, web services, SOAP interfaces, enterprise service repositories.
7. In depth knowledge of applications development, including systems analysis and design techniques, problem determination, project control, contract/vendor administration and structured system development methodologies.
8. Familiar with Waterfall and Agile application development methodologies.
9. Ability to communicate highly technical information in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences through writing and presentations.
10. Strong analytical skills; ability to perform complex systems analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
11. Superior verbal, written and presentation skills required.
12. Project management experience a plus.
13. Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic and directed, keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service orientation.
14. Retail background highly preferred.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
