Warehouse Advantage functional and application testing support specifically focused on the following deliverables as outlined:

Receive direction, assignment, milestones and priority from Test Leads and Test Coordinators. Read and understand Functional Designs, Technical Designs, and Unit Test Plans, as assigned. Design Test Cases and develop Test Scripts (stored in QC Test Plan module), as assigned. Assign appropriate Priority, Complexity, Solution Set and other attributes for every Test Case. Provide support for Test Case and Test Script re-work and updates based on the review comments by Test Leads and Test Coordinators. Prepare test data sheet templates and or files which are used to populate with appropriate test data (converted and/or manufactured data) prior to test executions, and attach to the respective Test Sets (QC Test Plan module) for test execution. Execute planned Test Cases and Test Scripts, and record test execution results (within QC Test Lab module). Log defects (In QC Defects module) for failed test Cases and Test Scripts and assign the defect to the appropriate person for resolution. Participate in defect triage and adhere to defect management process. Re-test for failed Test Cases and Test Scripts after the defects are resolved and/or fixed. Enter appropriate comments in the defect for traceability and history before closing the defect. Identify potential automation candidates (test cases) as per the automation guidelines. As directed, generate automation and performance Test Scripts supporting both functional and performance testing activities. Provide daily/weekly status on testing activities and tasks assigned, working directly with the designated Test Lead and Test Coordinator. Escalates issues and risks to the responsible Test Lead and Test Coordinator as appropriate.

Skills:

Minimum 5 plus years experience providing business and technical support for WA HighJump. Minimum 5 plus years in a test analyst or equivalent capacity working in a global retail software development environment. Demonstrate strong QA and technical testing skills in planning and execution, as well as defect management supporting software development and testing activities. Experience with change management activities related to requirements and test scope changes requiring re-planning. Excellent communication skills are essential. Working knowledge of project and test management tools such as MS Project Office and HP Quality Center are preferred. Previous experience working with onsite/offshore teams is desirable.
