Kiboo is a very exciting startup in New York City defining the new face of banking. By developing an online and mobile banking presence, we are enabling the younger generation to really understand their finances, plan their lives and make their money go farther!
Role
We are looking for an innovative, driven, passionate software developer to help with the development of our main banking applications and mobile tools. Your main focus will be for iPhone development (and other devices), Web (.NET) development, QA and prototyping. Being a startup, you will work closely with the CIO and our partners and are expected to immerse yourself in the technology (launch), push the envelope for the mobile platform, and most importantly, wear multiple hats to bring ideas, energy and drive to the Kiboo team.
Responsibilities
• Lead the entire pre-launch QA process (this is your time to get acquainted with the code base)
• Develop with the assistance of our partners iPhone apps (banking and non banking tools)
• Gain code base knowledge to have more development ownership and be able to prototype post launch ideas
• Participate in vision discussions as to the platform’s future
• Oversee bug tracking system and bug allocation for post launch phase
• Support the Founder and CIO in strategic discussions and provide input on new ideas, new features and innovation
Qualifications
• Software development/engineering degree
• iPhone platform and other mobile experience a MUST
• Because of the nature of Kiboo, we are not an open source solution, so .NET expertise is required (2 - 4 plus years).
• A startup mentality, where time, energy and drive will match the existing Kiboo team members
• Web design/production experience a plus (html/css)
• SEO knowledge
• Banking experience would be a plus, but NOT required
