WellnessFx™ is a Consumer Health 2.0 company focused on organizing the buying patterns and data of wellness/longevity consumers and practitioners. By providing a sophisticated, web-based nutrition, diagnostic, and lifestyle service it promotes lifelong solutions that improve wellness and promote longevity.

In the past decade the nutritional supplement and organic personal care products businesses have doubled from $ 18.5 billion in 2000 to $ 37 billion in 2009. With growth has come complexity for wellness consumers. At present, sophisticated consumers and wellness practitioners are faced with tens of thousands of nutritional products with few tools to personalize them to their wellness needs. Finding, comparing, and purchasing nutritional products is a daunting, time-consuming task. It is a market category ideally suited for Internet distribution; yet less than 5% of all nutritional products are distributed online.

The WellnessFX™ service will generate revenue and market share by saving consumers and wellness practitioners substantial time and money by using group purchasing, rewards and social networking models. We plan to generate revenue from the onset as we have 63 paying betas and we are on track to hit our target of 250. Funding wise we have a small amount of seed money and will be closing a larger round in the Fall.
